Pangbourne College offers a limited number of scholarships to pupils who demonstrate exceptional academic ability or excellence in a major co-curricular specialism. The following information outlines the entry criteria, scholarship programme benefits and expectations.

Holding a scholarship is recognition of excellence in your specialist area, your potential to participate actively in the life of the college, and your contribution as a positive role model and leader.

In common with other independent schools, the College does not provide automatic fee remissions for holders of scholarships. Instead, we are investing the funds which would otherwise be used to provide discounts to deliver a dedicated scholarships programme, which will enable you to reach your full potential in your specialist area.

Award holders can expect additional tuition, lectures, visits and opportunities, depending on the type and specialism of the award you hold. Your progress will be closely monitored and mentoring within your specialism will be available. There is also an annual Scholars’ Event which is a significant date in the College calendar.

Sports Scholars automatically join the Sports Performance Programme (SPP).
