We are delighted to announce that Pangbourne College and Ealing Trailfinders have formed an exciting new rugby partnership that will offer a clear route for its student rugby players through the ETEP (Ealing Trailfinders Elite Player) pathway. Players will have the opportunity to progress on to the Ealing Trailfinders University Academy Programme, at Brunel University London, before embarking on their future career in professional rugby.

Sam Hewick, Director of Sport at Pangbourne College explains,  “I’m thrilled that we have embarked on this partnership with Ealing Trailfinders, it enables those students who are passionate about Rugby to be supported with a clear pathway to professional sport. This is a really exciting time for Rugby at Pangbourne having recently appointed Max Clementson as Director of Rugby and having forged a partnership with Ascend Performance who will deliver athletic development for performance sports first teams (including Rugby) and sports scholars.”

Gareth Rise, Academy Operation Manager at Trailfinders Rugby Academy, said: “Pangbourne is a great environment for aspirational rugby players to develop, learn and achieve. This partnership with Pangbourne College further highlights the Trailfinders Rugby Academy's continued drive to build the most comprehensive dual career pathway for aspiring athletes.

Mr Oliver Knight, Head at Pangbourne College comments, “This partnership demonstrates Pangbourne College’s commitment to Rugby as a performance sport and goes even further in raising the sporting standards throughout the College.”
