We are pleased to announce the success of Year 11 pupil Mia Moore who has been selected for the England U18 Hockey team. The team was revealed on Friday 4 November, following a range of assessment camps and training days throughout the last two months.

This is an incredible achievement for her as many of the selected players are currently two years older in their Upper Sixth year.

Commenting on her accomplishment, Mia said: ‘After such a fantastic experience in Spain for the Eight Nations European Hockey tournament, I was really happy to be selected again for England for the 2022-23 season. Playing at U18 level also offers me a great personal challenge and next step in my journey towards becoming a senior international.'

The Pangbourne community is delighted with the news, particularly Director of Sport, Mr Sam Hewick, who commented: ‘I am unbelievably proud of Mia and all that she has achieved so far. Being selected for the England U18 Hockey team is a huge achievement. However, I do feel she still has more to come and is on the path to big things if she continues to work hard. I know the entire College will join me in congratulating Mia and wishing her the best of luck.'
