Hear all about the fun that was had on the 2025 Pangbourne College ski trip from Ben and Dom in Year 13:

'The 2025 Pangbourne ski trip was nothing short of a roller-coaster ride on snow. We kicked off our adventure with a tiring 4am departure from the college on New Year's Day, through a marathon of bus rides and a flight, finally arriving at the ultimate winter wonderland. The initial relief of sinking into warm chicken wings and mac and cheese when we arrived was incredible.

Each day of the trip we got the opportunity to go out  and conquer the slopes. Lunchtimes were a big highlight of the trip; I’m pretty sure some of us tried to find the most extravagant hot chocolate available whilst on the mountain.

Evenings were a favourite as well, thanks to our "kangaroo court" sessions. The tradition goes back a long time, with students voting for the best splat of the day, the student with the most votes received a helmet cover with flashing lights just so other skiers stayed out the way. The "good deed" award for the best act of kindness received a chocolate bar which became highly sought after – who knew good deeds could taste so sweet?

By the end of the week, all of our laughs, falls, and achievements created an unforgettable experience. From mastering ski runs to our eventful evening gatherings, we will look back at these memorable moments for years to come. It’s safe to say, we all returned with spirits as high as the mountain peaks we conquered ready for the start of term!'
