During the half term holiday, Pangbourne College pupils, Harry, Lewis, Ed and Luca organised and undertook a charity walk for FareShare

Despite the rain, they hiked 10 miles, with plenty of hill challenges along the way. Each carried a rucksack of food based on the minimum quantity that they would need to survive for a week. We are very proud of the initiative they have demonstrated and their fundraising efforts. They have smashed their fundraising target of £200, raising £800 so far!

FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 17 independent organisations. They take good quality surplus food from across the food industry and distribute it to frontline charities and community groups.
