Pupils in our Port Jackson division organised a College bake sale to raise money for two charitable causes this week.

A range of both sweet and savoury treats were on offer to the Pangbourne community. Both pupils and staff contributed to the initiative and raised a total of £223.70.

The majority of the funds raised will go towards sponsoring a young boy in Nabugabo in Uganda. Alongside The Huge Partnership, Pangbourne College provides financial support to the Nabugabo Community Learning Centre (NCLC) and are hoping to organise a trip to the centre in 2023.

The remainder of the money will be sent to Daisy's Dream, a charity which is close to Port Jackson's Matron, Gill Pollock's heart. Daisy's Dream supports children and their families who have suffered from life threatening illnesses or bereavements of loved ones.
